Gulpie is designed so the hydration entries you create remain on your device.
What Gulpie stores
Gulpie stores the information needed to operate the app: your editable goal, vessel settings, reminder preferences, and hydration entries. This information is stored locally in the app’s container and shared locally with the Gulpie widget and supported quick-log actions.
What Gulpie does not do
- No account or login.
- No app-managed cloud database or cross-device sync.
- No advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking SDK, or data broker.
- No HealthKit, location, contacts, or remote push-notification provider in the MVP.
Backups and deletion
Normal user-controlled iPhone backups and restores may include the app’s local container. That is Apple backup behavior, not Gulpie sync. Delete all data from Settings to remove entries and preferences from the app’s local storage. Removing the app removes its local container.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Gulpie asks iOS for local notification permission. Reminder scheduling and notification content are generated on-device. iOS controls delivery based on your settings, Focus, summaries, and device state.
Website hosting
This public website is hosted through Cloudflare. Ordinary web requests may create hosting and security logs governed by Cloudflare’s service operation. The website does not add advertising cookies or behavioral analytics.
